Born in 1994, Homelander was experimented upon with Compound V, which gave him his abilities, which he would use later on in his career as a superhero. He would become one of the mightiest superheroes in existence, leading the Seven. He was also believed to have raped and impregnated Becca Butcher, wife of Billy Butcher, when in actuality, it was Black Noir, his clone. Becca's pregnancy would result in her death. The show takes a significantly different turn, where Homelander (Anthony Starr) actually sired a child with Becca Butcher and the child lived to become Ryan Butcher.
Homelander is a superhero, possessing powers such as superhuman strength, speed, stamina, invulnerability, hearing, flight, microscopic, telescopic and x-ray visions, superhuman voice and possibly dominant genetics. His weaknesses consist of having insecurities, mental illness and carelessness. His physical abilities also have weaknesses, such as not being able to use his full strength while in flight, blunt force can slow him down and his hearing is sensitive to high frequencies.
