ZiR1402I created this character as a concept for a Mugen project (not mine) back in 2009(?), and, as 99.9% of the Mugen projects, this one never left the concept part. This character was something totally out of my comfort zone, I normally work with human bodies (male and female), but not very much with anthropomorphic ones, so it was an interesting project. Of course, I started to do a few antro characters like Guzula, Leatherhead, Raphael and Donatello, but these characters are all fanarts, so creating something original, was a challenge.
Othniel was originally named Caedmon, but I decided to rename it considering the origin of the character (somewhere in Israel) for something more "fitting", and Othniel seems perfect for him. Anyway, the 1st picture is my revised version of Othniel (2020) and the 2nd picture, is my 1st version from 2009. I am still going to revisit this character in the future, he sure need more inprovement, still, I like the results very much.
