This drawing shows two characters from my Doom creative writing project "Day of Wrath," the Doom Slayer and an OC of mine known as Soulbreaker.
If the Slayer is an agent of violence, Soulbreaker is an agent of chaos. She is an unpredictable, impulsive, and exceedingly dangerous sociopathic war criminal with a manic passion for wanton destruction and indiscriminate killing. While most of her victims are demons, unlike the Slayer she is not above taking the lives of fellow humans even if they pose no threat to her. A figure from the Slayer's past, he will be forced to work with her when the demons invade Earth during the events of Doom Eternal, as her unique skills and powerset prove invaluable in the race against time to save mankind from Hell. Reluctantly, as this picture perfectly captures their tense relationship and contrasting personalities.
Like the Slayer, Soulbreaker is known by many names and titles, such as Wildfyre, Takyon, and the Iron Maiden (she finds this last one particularly amusing, considering the "maiden" moniker).
Yes, Revy from Black Lagoon was definitely an inspiration for Soulbreaker's visual design. Though in terms of personality, she's probably more similar to LoL's Jinx.
No, she is NOT inspired by Harley Quinn.
