Despairing Tiamat: One of the three Dark Knights of Ozma, the Horseman of Despair. During the 1st Black Crusade he clashed with Wolfgand Beonarr, one of the Holy Five, and felled him in combat. Yet although the monk fell at his spear, Tiamat was in shambles as well and also lost one of his horns to him. Unable to overcome the rest of the Holy Five he retreated, eventually sealed with the rest of the forces of chaos as the crusade ended.
Before he was sealed however, he gave his blood to give birth to one of the three Purebloods to carry out his will in his absence. Centuries later, thanks to the efforts of the Black Church and the Purebloods he, along with Destructive Berias, was released from his seal. After being reawakened he came into contact with the adventurers and priests, including Teida Beonarr, the descendent of the very monk he dueled so long ago. Still weak from the reawakening, he promptly retreated with his Pureblood to regroup, but not before mocking how weak the current priests were.
When the 2nd Black Crusade broke out, with the advent of Ozma of Chaos, he recovered all of his power (and the missing horn, because chaos juice is that good) and challenged the adventurers and the priests with his hellsteed. However, he was unable to best the adventurers and was slain in battle.
