After knowing that ghost girl was not in the list of missing persons as checked by Sengoku, Mihawk kept his joy in secret as it could mean that she will stay with him a little longer. He couldn't help but smile while gazing at her from afar, watching her playing with his uncle's pet.
"How's your missing statue?" Sengoku asked, which made Mihawk felt hopeless as the cops are still having a hard time tracing it. In fact, he wouldn't be surprised if they drop that case one day.
Although his uncle suggested him to make a new one, Mihawk still expressed how special that statue to him, especially the stone that was used was a gift from his late father, Edward Newgate, a friend of Sengoku.
"Oh! The wishing stone!" Sengoku recalled, causing Mihawk to become curious of the story behind that stone. It was once a famous stone from Hiraya mountains where natives believe that whoever kisses it, his/her wish will come true.
"I guess your father gave you the last piece of that stone." He reassured, which helped Mihawk to connect the ideas - starting from the night he kissed that statue after wishing for it to become real - to the day when he met ghost girl in the airport wearing his shirt.
"Can I possibly claim that she's really mine?" He wondered, but Sengoku cut the crap, "It's just a myth though." He later warned him not to get attached to her so easily for it will be hard for him to let her go once her true family claims her.
2nd Pic:
While unwinding outside the chapel, Mihawk caught ghost girl staring at him. "What are you looking at?" He asked.
"Nothing." She blushed, "...I just find you very handsome in every way."
"Liar." He smirked.
"I'm always honest with you, my lord."
"Then, tell me who you really are." He dared, but her answer has not changed, "I am your creation."
When she was urged to recall something from her past, she said, "All I remember was waking up from a very deep sleep and found myself inside a huge box. As I got out of that box, all I could think of was to find you so I followed my heart, to my surprise, it led me to you.
"It's too impossible." Mihawk persisted.
"But that's the truth, my lord. If someone would claim that they're my family, I will still stay with you no matter what."
"Why?"
"Because I'm yours." She rested her head on his shoulder, unaware of how much Mihawk wanted to drag her inside that chapel and marry her at that very moment after hearing the words that electrified him the most.
3rd Pic:
Before they got off the car, Mihawk chose to stay a bit more as he loved seeing ghost girl being asleep after a long ride. He gently stroked the side of her cheek, mesmerized on how beautiful she breathes. Despite of the many warnings given to him, he still wants to rely on the myth that ghost girl is his missing statue.
Although he held back from kissing the loveliest girl he has ever seen, he sweared to flee with her soon if he received no news about her family until the end of the month.
