Mr.KonaSoni573I still remember fondly Contra Shattered Soldier or Shin Contra if you are from Japan.
I am confident is my favorite PS2 game alongside Bouken Jidai Katsugeki Goemon and sincerely I miss too much when I used to play for hours the game back then when I first got it.
I kinda have never been able at all to repeat it with another game, it was just like something else for me.
Konami's seem like wanting to port it to modern hardware so if they do, they can expect my sale for all consoles.
About Contra right now, Contra Rogue Corps is getting older and actually is getting 3 years old... I still think is a shame the reception was pretty mixed because the truth is that the game was actually pretty fun and it had a lot of stuff well designed that was obviously overlooked, I still don't want to blame people for not seeing my point or have their own thoughts, though, like always I just hoped things could have been different. 🤷♀️
Contra Returns is also out for mobile and the truth is that is a pretty good game and it actually has a lot of stuff that Contra most adept fans will adore (or not).
It's a fun game so if you want to try it up is free to play right now, though like always if you want the most beefy stuff you need to pay for it.
Not much to say about the sketch this time.
I like the extra shading in the muscles and I hope for a better job or one sketch in the future.
The logo behind Bill is the one for Team Jiribuu that was the name that Konami team adopted for making Contra Shattered Soldier.
I thought it was a nice detail.
that's all.
I do wish Konami port the game for modern hardware and still make Contra games in the future.
