Inspiration: A gift art for a close friend of mine
This is a severely late gift that has been postponed numerous times, created this drawing for someone who I consider a good and close friend of mine. I see him as a genuine friend, great company, and an art body of a sorts as well. Though it has been a long while, this is a belated gift for all the time that has passed not being there with him, so I spent some time on it to express my gratitude on how much I appreciate him as a person!
Not going to lie, this was rather overwhelming to do, especially Ursula. I had to create my own custom brushes due to all the patterns and accessories she has throughout her attire. At least I did not have to individually draw them, I don't think I have sufficient patience if I were to do so. Did not want to go through burn out like a certain piece of "icon" I did...
Other Info:
- The character on the left is Rocky Rodhes, one of my friend's sona. Next on the right is St. Ursula de Dumnonia, a saint who I chose as the front.
- St. Ursula's dress is an amalgamation of her different dresses from different portraits by Francisco de Zurbaran. I formed a new one by merging some of their characteristics.
