ARSThe Theocracy of Zirash is a nation built around many feudal kingdoms in a federation led by a Theocratic council and their own council of lords known as Paladins. Above it all while not an official ruler is the near godlike being known as Zi’rala, a powerful psionic cryptid who years ago led refugees safely through chaos to build a nation.
While a theocracy the people of Zirash are encouraged to learn and study technology and history, Zi’rala, worshipped as a living god rarely uses her power over her people but does give them access to much of her collected knowledge while some is considered too dangerous and kept from the general citizens so it may be safely used.
The Theocracys most well known and iconic army corps are their Paladins; the knights in shining power armor of these lands. Well trained, well armed, and the greatest guardians the Theocracy can field abroad and at home.
