Ryxsen1421The Schattenfalke is one of the two tanks designed by Leonhardt to mount the L/50 120mm Smoothbore cannon, as the low profile, turretless and cheaper alternative to the much more capable turreted variant. The tank would be put in service with the Federal border guards, whom are often stationed in remote areas. Because of this, the Schattenfalke was designed to be low maintenance and its multifuel engine meant it could operate areas with little access to logistics.
