tomboyjessie13My apologies for being missing for the last several days, there was my sister's birthday, then my lady problems kicked in, body and head aches galore, had a hard time getting the Fierce Deity's Mask on MM3D to the point of frustration, got into a fight with a couple of jerks on Tumblr, either way it's been a pretty stressful week...except for the birthday of course, it was fun.
Any who, this drawing is kinda vent art because of the stress I've gone through, I've been meaning to draw it anyways.
I like to present my redesign of everyone's favorite gremlin, Skull Kid, and his fairy friends Tael and Tatl. I wanted to see what he would've looked like in "Breath of the Wild" style while also trying to stay faithful to his original look.
As you can see I used references to "Ocarina of Time", "Majora's Mask", "Twilight Princess", and EmberLab's short film: "Majora's Mask - Terrible Fate".
I really don't like his portrayal in TP because of how creepy he looked, but I do like the make up and earrings so I kept those. I also liked to imagine he kept Time!Link's tunic and fairy's ocarina as a memento(and yes, the fairy's ocarina isn't tossed out here), he wears a old and torn hooded cape that's held together by a Kokiri's Emerald as a gift to him by the Kokiri before they became Koroks, and his bird beak is removable so it be easier to put on other masks or keep him from choking on hazardous fumes. His fairy friends are still the same though.
