Watamote has a lot of loveable characters, and Asuka was quick to become one of my favorites. When she was first introduced in chapter 106 I was a bit afraid that she would appear to be stuck up (when she saw Tomoko staring at her through the mirror). But she quickly proved herself to be rather nice and thoughtful. This was seen quite clearly in chapter 193 where she sacrifices herself in order to devour that ramen. I was debating whether to have her look prim and proper or disheveled and defeated after clearing some space... I went with the prim and proper idea.
