Ah Sayaka, aside from Homura you are my favorite gal from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Even if you were naive and jealous and ripped yourself apart with your pride, your goals were admirable. I think we all wish to be brave, selfless and unbreakable sometimes. We want to fight for those we love and protect them no matter what. And to show that we are better than anyone else, we do not even want to be thanked for that. Nothing can stop us because we fight for the right reasons. We will always stand up for those in need and fight their fights because it's what good people do... right? And because we fight for the right reasons we will get through every situation...
Sadly we often forget about our own and put our own health behind anything or anyone else... We don't notice how much harm we put to ourselves and ignore friends who get concerned about it. By trying to be selfless we start hurting those around use due to the harm we try to carry until we finally break down. Sayaka's story showed what selflessness without regard for the own health can lead to. Her arc surely was sad and even if she was a very flawed character, I like her alot.
