つじもとひでお「アビー・ロード」で頂点に行き着いたビートルズ。その場所から見ると、アルバム"Let It Be"は物足りなく思えるかも知れません。でも、一言で"Let It Be"の魅力を言えば、とてもシンプルな、アコースティックサウンドだと思うのです。（エレキギターを使っているから、アコースティックという言い方は変なんですけど。）特殊効果のないシンプルなロック。こういう形でグループを続けて欲しかったなあって思えるアルバムなんです。通の人からはあまり評判が良くないアルバムですが、ぼくは大好きです。
The Beatles reached the peak with "Abby Road." This album "Let It Be" might seem to be too simple from that point of view. However, the charm of this album is this simplicity. I dare say that it has an acoustic sounds without any special effects. I want them to continue their group in this style. Though strong "The Beatles Lovers" might not evaluate this album highly, I like this album very much.
