Artraccoon USAThe FSV-101 "Flea Class" fleet scout is a common small vessel seen operating near Interstellar Axis fleets. Usually used for patrol, picket, and of course scouting operations, the FSV-101 can also be used to guide long range missile attacks to their targets. A great many variations exist for the Flea, but the baseline model as shown here has long range and high definition sensor aerials protruding off the aft, assorted sensors on the bow, and two orange colored hyperspace distortion sensor antennae on the bottom. The craft is armed with a single "stubby" plas-bolt anti-ship cannon turret on top (basically a single destroyer gun), two twin 10 cm. pulse laser cannon turrets on the front sides, and a 4cm quad plasma pulse cannon turret on the bottom for anti-fighter and point defense. Typically the ship has a crew of eight on board and is landing capable. For a sense of scale, the cockpit seats two side by side with a lot of room between. This vessel is the ASF Longreach, hull number 1142, operating with the 12th Fleet out of Sirius. This ship was built at the Solar Union's ship yards in Oryol, Russia (the first yard to build them), but Fleas are built at many shipyards thru out the Interstellar Axis. The FSV-101 hull provides the basis for the "Gnat" fast attack ship as well, with a missile loadout in lieu of the sensor mounts and a second heavy gun mount.
