Chapter 15 - Summary
1st Pic:
After treating Mihawk's wounds, Perona asked him, "Why are you here, by the way?" Mihawk sighed, "I just want to check if you're safe." He admitted, but Perona laughed at him instead, "Ha ha! That kind of incident isn't new to me. I can defend myself though. In fact, I was about to hit him but then you showed up." Mihawk remained worried even after seeing that she's totally fine. "...Can you please quit this job? I understand that you want to become independent. But worrying about your safety really drives me crazy." He pleaded.
Perona: But I need to. Otherwise, I won't be able to live on my own once I go to study abroad.
Mihawk: Then don't leave. Stay with me.
Perona: W-what? You can't be my legal guardian forever! You'll get married soon.
Mihawk: What if I don't?
Perona was confused and couldn't absorb what he's trying to say. Mihawk looked at her straight in the eyes, "...I have this feelings for you that I can no longer hide. At first, I thought it could fade away, but it gets stronger as time goes by. Perona, I want to keep you. I want to take care of you for the rest of my life." He confessed. But Perona still didn't get his point, "Can you please be more frank? I'm afraid to assume again. You want to take care of me as what? As a little sister? As a friend? Or as---" She couldn't continue talking because Mihawk suddenly kissed her.
2nd Pic:
The moment he kissed her, Perona finally understood that Mihawk wants to take care of her not as a little sister, nor friend, but as his GIRL. Perona couldn't help but respond to his kiss, but before it gets deeper, they got separated quickly as they heard someone's coming.
3rd Pic:
Shanks and Makino entered the room. Makino saw that Perona's face turned red, hence she got worried even more. "Are you okay, dear? I'm sorry I wasn't able to warn you about Blackbeard. I understand if you can't work today. Mihawk may take you home so you could rest."
"N-n-no! I'm okay! I can still work!" Perona was still blushing and felt shy around Mihawk because of what happened so she left the room immediately. Makino followed her right away, leaving Shanks and Mihawk inside the room.
Shanks: Are you okay, dude? I brought Blackbeard to the cops.
Mihawk: Thanks.
Shanks: Shall we continue our discussion awhile ago? I've got a perfect plan on how would you confess your feelings for Perona!
Mihawk: Nevermind that plan. I confessed to her already.
Shanks was surprised and felt so proud of him, "That's my big bro! Ha ha! And what did she say?" He asked, which made Mihawk got annoyed, "You interrupted us earlier, how would I know?" He even said, "Thank you for ruining the most important moment in my life." Then he stood up to leave the room.
"Hey, look! I'm sorry! I really don't know! Ha ha ha!" Shanks said, but it only made his brother more pissed.
