Renee is a former Royal Guard, beings that are given the power to protect the new young deity that is currently growing and becoming the next God or Goddess of their place, although she was a Human Being at 1st when she encountered her Master who was also a Royal Guard and decided to take her in because of her determination to help others despite being in a critical condition as a child herself, infused with the power of a Royal Guard she became near Invulnerable and Immortal, she also gained a Special Knight Form as many Royal Guards gain special form depending on how they are, she was given a special sword and was trained in the way her Master fought when he defends his deity, she has lost that Sword in the Deity Massacre but with a fragment of it had it reforged into a new sword with only quarter of the power of the former
During the Deity Massacre all the Royal Guards that survived and also failed to protect their Deity were imprisoned and punished for failure, eternally tortured as they could not die by any normal means, Renee was tortured for 50 years til she heard her Deity, Ember's voice calling out to her, driving her to escape and saving her deity, after a long journey and slaying so many powerful beings and bosses she finds Ember who's power is being used to create the Undying Flame, freeing her she protects her til she becomes a full Goddess of Fire learning Renee's way of combat, after that Renee went her way now that the Age of Royal Guards have passed, she became a traveler before becoming a Mercenary in the very City her Master was killed
She still retains her Royal Guard abilities but can only activate her Guard Form for some time before she starts to get tired, though even in her normal form many attacks can't seem to damage her or penetrate her unless it's a powerful weapon and even then she has a her rapid regeneration to keep her going, she can only blast energy out in her Guard Form so she had a pair of powerful Handguns made for her by a good celestial merchant friend that never seem to run out of ammo and can devastate armored enemies, her Remade Sword is not as powerful as her old sword but can be when in her Guard Form
