ARSThe Southern part of the Shaycan Subcontinent, called South Shayca, has been a quarantined Dark Zone where it is unknown if any life still lives. The entire country is dark of communications, and sometimes patrols of West, North, and East Shaycan soldiers go in to check on dangerous Pandoran Sickness monster activity. However, the diseased monsters aren't the only threat that loom the dead lands.
This West Shaycan patrol were patrolling along in the rain when the Spirit Runes carried by one of the Sipahi here lit up. He immediately checked it, realizing that Radiological Anomalies (aka ghosts) were near. In the dark and the obscuring rain, they both eventually saw it.

Protocols always warned against ghosts being visible and approaching, since most ghosts, even if detectable by certain means, barely interact with mortals. However, if any shows direct interest, in this case, in most cases, this is not a good sign and it is advised to leave the area immediately before they catch up.
One of the Sipahi prepares a Lantern Grenade, a phosphorus grenade that burns very brightly and is difficult to put out. Radiological Anomalies are heavily disoriented by bright lights and flashes, and the patrolmen here prepare themselves to run as fast as possible.
