One day, Mario & Luigi were into one of Bowser's airships to beat off one of their minions when suddenly, Boom Boom knocked the Bros. out of the airship. Mario & Luigi and Starlow fall into an unknown island, now being impossible to rescue Peach from Bowser. It seems to be on an island and the Mario Bros. noticed a house right next to them. Crash, Aku Aku, Coco heard the commotions outside so, they opened the door and seeing the Mario Bros. right in front of their door. The Mario Bros. and Starlow then meet Crash Bandicoot, Aku Aku, and Coco right in front of their house, which is where Mario & Luigi and Starlow explain their story to them. However, Crash and Aku has told them the Dr. Neo Cortex has teamed up with someone of a Koopa King and that is where the Mario Bros. and Crash Bandicoot team up to stop Cortex and Bowser from taking over the Mushroom Kingdom. Although the Mario Bros. and Starlow may feel concerned about Crash's craziness, Aku told them that Crash may help them to stop Bowser and Cortex since Crash does have abilities.
Also, Donkey Kong is on Crash Bandicoot's island, so he's gonna help Coco to find more mysteries in Cortex's castle.
This crossover idea goes to Mevans2703 from Twitter, who wanted a Mario & Luigi box art crossover with Crash Bandicoot. I gotta say, I never played Crash Bandicoot, but I’ve known him when Activision brought him back with the N. Sand Trilogy back in 2017. But this was fun to draw this for a big Crash fan. Enjoy!
