ARSTerraels are a race of animals that have strange skin that allows them to emulate the properties of soil for plants and any fungi to grow on them. The plants absorb nutrients and water out of the animal, but in return, the plants transfer energy to the animal as well from their photosynthesis. The plants and bark growing on this animal help it to blend into the biomes it lives in. It prefers poisonous plants growing on it so as to discourage predators from attacking.
Terraels can blend into the environment of forests and jungles, often when they are asleep or lying down. They are very docile and calm animals, and can be tamed for any agrarian purposes that can be found of them. However, their strength is not to be underestimated as they are rather large and imposing animals nonetheless.
