Chapter 8 - Summary
1st Pic:
It's been two weeks since Perona has not been receiving any gifts from HAWK-EYES which made her feel really sad, not because of not having any more gifts, but because she has no idea what happened to him. "...Did something bad happened to him? Is he alright?" Perona was very worried and missed him so much.
2nd Pic:
Perona decided to ask Mr. Baboon about HAWK-EYES' current condition. Unfortunately, Mr. Baboon was no longer working in her school as mentioned by one of the janitors, "...It's been two weeks since he transferred to another company who offered him greater salary." Then, Perona pleaded, "Could you tell me what company it is? I badly want to talk to Mr. Baboon. I need to ask him something very urgent." The janitor felt how eager she was to find his former co-worker so he decided to give her some details, "He's now working in the government office, I will give you the address."
3rd Pic:
After Perona's class, she immediately went to the address that was given to her. As expected, it's the Department of Justice. She directly asked the security guard about the newly hired janitor named Mr. Baboon. "...He is the assigned janitor for the offices of public lawyers located on the third floor." The guard replied. When Perona arrived on the third floor of that building, she was able to find Mr. Baboon, but surprisingly, he was with MIHAWK.
Mihawk: I apologize once again for asking you to leave your previous work.
Mr. Baboon: No worries, sir. In fact, I am truly thankful because it's a great opportunity for me to work here.
Mihawk: Good to hear that. But I should be the one thanking you for always been cooperative with me, especially for NOT disclosing my real identity to Perona.
Mr. Baboon: Yeah, now that you decided to stop being her secret admirer, she would surely ask me about you, perhaps in a forceful way. Good thing that I left her school already before that happens.
The two were unaware that the person they were talking about was secretly listening to them. Perona was shocked and still coudn't believe what she had found out, "...Mihawk and HAWK-EYES are the same person???"
