Chapter 7 - Summary
1st Pic:
Mihawk asked Perona to open the door for his brother and sister-in-law (Shanks and Makino). But to Perona's surprise, she found out that Shanks was the guy who she had met last time. Out of fear, she apologized to him immediately, "Oh, I'm sorry I'd been rude to you last time. Please don't tell Mihawk about it, please? For sure he will punish me for being rude to his visitor..." But Shanks hesitated to forgive her easily, "Hmm... I'll think about it." He arrogantly replied.
2nd Pic:
Shanks and Zoro were chatting while they were all eating samgyupsal (grilled meat). Zoro was amazed upon knowing that Shanks and Mihawk were also trained in swordsmanship during their high school days. He's also glad to know that Shanks is also a good friend of his father (Kuma). Zoro mentioned that Perona is his cousin who just started living with him a year ago after her father's death. It made Shanks curious about her, thus, he asked ​Perona to tell something about herself. "I'm a year older than Zoro. I'm in Grade 12." Perona replied, then Zoro started teasing her, "Why don't you tell them that you're busy looking for your secret admirer's real identity? Ha ha!"
Shanks: Really? I guess you're too young for courtship.
Perona: I'm already 18!
Zoro: But what if you found out that HAWK-EYES is way older than you?
Perona: Does it matter?! Anyone can fall in love regardless of their age, idiot!
Perona kept on explaining her point, "Besides, I'm in legal age already! I'm allowed to start dating because I'm an adult now!" But Zoro did not stop pissing her off, "An adult huh? Look how a messy eater you are! Ha ha!" Perona did not get what he meant, then suddenly, Mihawk gently held her face to remove the dirt on her cheek which she seemed unaware of it. All of them were surprised upon seeing how sweet and gentle Mihawk was. He made everyone blushed, especially Perona.
3rd Pic:
That night, Mihawk was drinking wine because he couldn't fall asleep as he was thinking about his secret conversation with Shanks last afternoon. Shanks' assumption was right, that Mihawk is Perona's secret admirer. In fact, Shanks encouraged him to admit his feelings for Perona and to cancel his wedding with Robin before it's too late. But Mihawk thinks that fighting for her feelings for Perona would only hurt his mother's (Im) feelings and would definitely humiliate Im's reputation as a government official if rumors about her son dating a young girl (just like her ex-husband, Roger) will spread worldwide.
