　タイトルを０ページとした場合の５ページ目になるかと思います。一応まだ試作です。
　今週の薀蓄は、古民家の囲炉裏と屋根について調べてまいりました。日本の古民家では、囲炉裏に薪や炭をくべて暖をとったり調理したりしました。調理用に竈もあるのですが、囲炉裏の上にある自在鉤と呼ばれる器具に鍋を吊るして、そこで直接煮焚きもしました。私たちの疑問は「屋内で木を燃やしたら煙が充満して大変なんじゃないの？」という点かと思いますが、大丈夫なのです。日本の古民家の屋根には「煙出し」と呼ばれる煙を出すための穴が開いています。囲炉裏や竈の煙は、一旦天井に留まって屋根を燻蒸し、建材を乾燥させると同時に殺虫、殺菌します。さらに煤に含まれるタールが付着して防虫、防水を行い、殆ど木材で出来ている日本家屋を数十年も長持ちさせちゃうのです。通気性はバッチリなので一酸化炭素中毒の恐れは無いのですが、冬は隙間風が入り込んでめっちゃ寒いそうです。(((;ﾟДﾟ))))ｶﾞｸｶﾞｸﾌﾟﾙﾌﾟﾙ
