つじもとひでお昔、「となりのトトロ」に出てくるような家に暮らしていました。冬は雪が家の中に吹き込んできたり、大きな槇の木があって、鳩の巣があったり。奇妙な猫が住み着いて、家中のネズミを退治してくれたり、夜になると潮騒の音が聞こえ、毎日不思議なことが起こりました。夢のような数年間でした。
I used to live in an old house like that of "Tonarino-Totoro". A giant tree was in the middle of the garden and a pidgin's nest was on a branch. Strange cat came and ate all the mice in the house. The sea was roaring at night. Many mysterious things happened. Those years were like a dream for me.
