The device works by using a supercomputer (1) to simulate the evolution and development of life, using data on the planet and its conditions, including compatibility with humans, such a simulation is watched through a screen (4), and accelerated to a fast time frame. Once the simulation reaches a certain evolutionary chain/form, the AI will use this data to make the genetic templates in two cylinders (3), which is done via a life forming structure on top (2). When the templates are finished, they are used to create/replicate the flora and fauna, and take them to the planet itself, where they are positioned and "activated" in a proper sequence, to where the food chain won't be destabilized.
The first models relayed completely on human technology and input to make this process happen, while more advanced versions used the planet (such as Morphic Beings) to form and stabilize the environment.
