This is just a small thing. Since Truck can't stay in the hospital or dorms, he stays with Anarchy's villain friends. You can't tell me that there isn't still a shred of love for dogs in Shiggy. He'll complain about Truck all day but he won't make the big lug move if he decides to lay in his lap.
