i played a lot of Metro series lately but not the Exodus. i don't have money.(i don't use Kalash 2012 it's suck against Mutant )
Kalash 2012 or AK-2012 a fictional next-gen assault rifle by Russian army 1 year before nuclear war. it's fairly uncommon most of soldier still carry a AK-74M while AK-2012 serve in special forces
it derived from P90 PDW but remain AK style gas block and sight. use 5.45x39 caliber and has 40 rounds in the magazine.
it's actually will not work in real life lack of charging handle, safe/semi switch
not enough room behind to make gun operated(would work if use TKB-022PM system), magazine seem to be just sittin' there 90' degrees will also not function, and that AK gas piston will not work
