shikai's appearance: while folded, it looks like a scimtar with a ring for a hilt. while unfolded, it takes the form of a shuriken with 4 scimtar blades.
shikai's habilities:
when folded , each parry or attack that lands will steal the momentum and reiatsu of the target.
when unfolded, all the momentum and reiatsu stolen by the blade can be released into very powerful attacks until the momentum and reiatqu are depleted.
bankai:

bankai's appearance: the shuriken splits into 4 separate shurikens that orbit the user, and the wielder gets 1 bladed versions of the shikai.
bankai's powers :
the 1 bladed version the wielder gets still steal the momentum and reiatsu of the oppnement, but the amonts stolen gets amplified expotentially by the 4 orbiting shurikens.
the exoptentially stolen momentum can be released for ultra powerful attacks with an extreme destructive potential, schredding all oppnements caught in it.

he's the type of fighter that loves to improvise, hut can follow a plan if the job requires it.

his squad captain, soi fon, tends to avoid him as she finds his cheeky attitude sort of annoying, but she knows that he's reliable if she needs a job taken care of.
he doesn't like to use his bankai, and will often supplement his sword abilites with kidou attacks, especially restriction kidou.
he has 2 types of katas he relies upon in battle:
-攻撃的なダンス (kogeki-tekina dansu): aggresive dance.
this kata is all about Nonstop attacks,using his zanpakuto's in his folded folded form in order to steal momentum from the Oppnement before releasing it all in a destructive throw.
he tends to use that kata when he's confident in his Victory.
-防衛ダンス (boei dansu):
defensive dance.
this kata is all about provoking his opponement and spinning his shikai's folded form to parry at the last second his opponement's attacks in oder to seal their momentum and take advantage of an opening to release a destructive counter.
he tends to use this kata against stronger opponements, whenever he's unsure of his victory.
backstory:
when he was young,yamakaina lived as orphan in the rokungai district.
his only means to stay alive were to steal food from others,
and he learned to steal like a professional pickpocket,
and started a career as a bruglar.
soi fon took an interest in him, and captured him herself, and then recruited him.
