The Description:
A tribute to the Mario & Luigi game that introduced me to the games, its whimsical art style, and the RPG genre during the 3DS era.

Dream Team was my first Mario & Luigi game as I pretty much known Mario around the gaming world. However, the Mario series I’m more into is the Mario & Luigi series. An RPG handheld games of the Mario Bros going to marvelous adventures and the games were always my favorite as they played like Mario RPG games. The mainline Mario games are great, but this series introduced me to the RPG genre.

Now Dream Team was the only game I played in 2013 before I lost my 3DS around late 2014. It wasn’t found until mid-2018, my dad actually found it in the old couch which he plans to throw away. I didn’t mind my 3DS at that time and my brother lost my Dream Team cartridge in 2019 unfortunately. In December 2020, I got Superstar Saga DX as my Christmas present. Dream Team on the other hand was $20 on Eshop which was a savior for me to revisit the memories.

Now for my tribute on Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, I chose the Japanese box art version with the mix of my OCs. My mascot having a Dream bubble featuring the cast of my concepts (Jerry & Zack with Sarah at the bottom/ Dave & Steve with Aria on top) while his sister see what’s going on in the right. Fairly Girl is right there seeing the commotion and the extra side story of Justin, Valerie, and Fairy Girl’s sister up left (the Bowser’s Inside Story remake box art is pretty wacky with Bowser Jr on top with Roy and Morton as I plan to buy the game pretty soon.)

Enjoy the dreaming art and I might play Dream Team again for the memories.
