In 1916 Albert Bacon Pratt patented an idea for a gun that would be a helmet and a gun that could could be instinctually aimed accurately while protecting the wearers head.
His idea never saw production.
The model is based on mister Pratts patent drawings from the book Firearms Curiosa by Lewis Winant.
