"Crow" was Vickers Metalwork's entry for the Imperial Army tender to seek replacement Golem model to replace for aging model 1840 'Kajuma' (illust/83234409). While Army specifically mentioned they looking two different models to fulfill both light cavalry and heavy cavalry each, Vickers Metalwork envision that such different role can be fulfilled in one Golem; that would be "Crow".
Needless to say, the Army was not exactly thrilled with the "Crow". While "Crow" offers a great balance of mobility, protection and agility, its not really excelling their competitors in each role. Other Golems are either faster or better armored than "Crow". The 'Crow" eventually loses the tender, but by luck the "Crow" story is not ended here.
Some nobles and officers who present in test suitably interested with "crow" versatileness, and ordered some for their bodyguards or Yeomanry militias. Same story then repeated with several foreign armies buyers. Thus the Crow, rejected by its own country army, find way in civilian and foreign markets.
