"Oh yeah!" yelled Takeru, Patamon and Gabumon
During the next two hours, Yamato Ishida and Nova played together. For his delight, she not only was able to play classical music..when he played his music, she gleefully joined in...and showed off some improvisation !
Yamato seriously considered scouting a new member for his band, she was THAT good.
Gabumon couldn't contain his tears during the improvised concerto, he started sobbing during the first minutes and had been sobbing since then. Among his digi friends, he was the most sensible digimon from the group.
"Nice!" declared Yamato after playing a rock n' roll theme " You must play with us in our next concert. And I won't accept a no as an answer!"
" Say yes!!" begged Takeru to his new 'protegé' " It will be awesome!"
Nova , still dripping sweat from her forehead, smiled with more confidence yet doubtful. Was she ready to play before a public?
"Are you sure about it?" she asked, a bit intimidated by the Ishida's smile.
For some reason, it scared her...
" Be warned " Yamato was quite pleased, already imagining the upcoming cheers and imminent success " That we are going to practice A LOT. I'm a perfectionist"
Takeru and the digimons encouraged her to accept.
"It will be great, everybody will love you!" they said
"And probably, someone will recognize you" added Yamato
"I hope so" she said
The lad of Friendship wasn't really into helping her to become a star. It was just an elegant way of buying some time and keeping an eye on her in case she was an enemy, Takeru didn't need to know that.
Yamato was a strategist after all, who said that he was willing to place his trust in a stranger? No matter how well she played...
