CatFoxCN's CartoonTober Day 30: The Fungies. Like the Mao Mao heroes of pure heart Nood mock up I made with Adorabat I was thinking about making a Toonix version of some CN show to get in on a little CN Cartoontober challenge they posted on their Social media.
I chose Seth from The Fungies, The Fungies is a pretty good show, created by Stephen Neary who worked on Clarence and I can see the similarities. It's about a village set in the prehistoric age occupied by sentient fungus. While their content living their simple comfy lives completely ignorant of the outside world around them one young fungie named Seth is set on understanding the unknown & unexplored!
The Toonix brand is basically the same as the Noods but toonix was made for Latin America and the most noticeable difference is the toonix are stubbier and look like Funk pop figures while the noods look like bowling pins. And if you notice the line of blocks I've added a block with a Fungie eye next to the title of the show which I think was common with both Noods & Toonix to have a special pattern for certain shows.
I also made a English & Spanish text version and for the English version I made the placement of Seth a little more natural as opposed to the Spanish one because in the promos the camera zooms in ultra close to their face and it looks super weird, they did that zoom thing with the Noods too.
I used this base for the first Toonix of Seth https://www.deviantart.com/madobenanami3255/art/Cartoon-Network-Toonix-base-679271574 but for the 2nd I just winged it.
