SketchSukeEstavius, Merciless Blades of the Queens court had made his way back to the capital of Purgatory, Saint Bastion. As he made his way to the palace gates the guards stood in attention, "Greetings master Estavius!" "At ease, let me in." "Yes Sir!" The guards open the gate and Estavius walks through the front court garden and makes his way to the main entrance. Once inside Estavius notices some of the guards seem nervous, "Soldier, whats wrong? You seem tense..." "N-no no no master Estavius I-I'm perfectly f-fine-" "Grrrrrrr...They fear me..." the soldier tenses up even more and lets out an eep at the sound of the beastial yet gentle voice. Estavius turns to see a large beast walk out of the shadows behind the guard, easily towering over both Estavius and the guard, it was Vedovaste, the Savage Beast of the Queen's Court. "Vedovaste, good to see you, your looking well," Vedovaste looks down to Estavius, her eyes glowing yellow beneath her cloak, "grrraaw...as are you dear Estavius, honestly after how many years I've been here you'd think the guards would be...rrrrrr...used to me by now." She puts a single claw on top of the guards helmet and begins scratching it playfully, the guard becoming ever more fearful, "Honestly, does my form cause you that much fear little one?" "I believe these may be new guard recruits, thus explaining their...apprehension. It is alright soldier, she won't you." The guard tried to find safety in Estavius's words but he was still nervous, Vedovaste stopped playing with the guard and turned to Estavius again, "So, I assume your off to check up on the rrrrest of the court?" "Aye, I am, and you?" "Oh I have no duties at the moment so I plan to go out for a little hunt, see how many Corrupted I can rip apart" Vedovaste said with a wide grin showing her fangs. "Hmph, then I'll leave you to it then." Estavius continued on his way deeper into the palace while Vedovaste made her way out.
