VerziSome friends and I had some fun around 2015-ish where we played around with a Homestuck + Steven Universe AU, giving different HS characters roles from SU and whatnot.
1-2. Jake takes Steven's role, with Grandma Jade taking Rose's (as Emerald). The Alpha's basically made up the Crystal Gems.
3-7. Tavros takes Connie's role, and they fuse together to form Tavake. Also, Bec replaces Lion
8. Jane is a Pearl, but goes by Spinel as a way to reclaim her identity
9-10. had 2 different ideas for John. He was a Quartz warrior at first, but then Bismuth got intro'd so CLEARLY i had to make a Bismuth John. Cuz Hammer Arms.
13. (Alpha) Dave plays the role as Jake's dad (the parallel to greg)
14. a sketch of Emerald (Jade)
I unfortunately didnt get a chance to draw Roxy and Dirk (who paralleled Amethyst and Garnet respectively), but this AU was loads of fun to play with and there were loads of things we brainstormed, including fusion concepts. (All of Dirk's fusions ended up being a different kind of anime genre, lmao)
