The fourth submission for Mechtember. Today, I bring you the VF-1J Valkyrie from Macross, created by Studio Nue, and Artland, with mechanical designer Shoji Kawamori. This series, Genesis Climber Mospeada, and Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross, were adapted together into Robotech.
This series is quite noteworthy for having real robots that can transform into multiple forms. From turning into a jet fighter, a pseudo helicopter form, and a jet fighter with legs.
The VF-1J Valkyrie is an upgraded version of the standard VF-1, and like its equivalents, it's a battroid/variable fighter made from Overtechnology.
