SleepycoastHere's Komugi, my bunny character from a brief, 3-session or so run of the tabletop roleplaying game Golden Sky Stories.
In GSS, you play as a "henge", which is kind of like an animal or other type of spirit that usually takes the form of a younger child/teenager that usually tends to help humans. They can shift between an animal form, a sort of in-between form where they look human, but have signs of their true form (e.g. rabbit ears, wings, a tail, etc), and a completely human form.
Komugi is a rabbit henge, who, when not in her full rabbity form, takes on the appearance of a 12-year old girl. She's one of those people who tries to behave very maturely or knowledgeably for her age and aims to impress others with what she knows about human behavior and technology. She often has mixed results with this, while she might look up to and impress other and/or older people, Komugi's true understanding of human culture and technology is actually quite juvenile. She really wants to be seen as cool and has a deep fear of being alone or ignored, leading to her acting the way she does. She also has a bit of a problem with meddling in others' affairs if she can get away with it. That said, Komugi cares very deeply for those close to her and she enjoys spending time with her friends Shinta and Koyuki.
For her name, I was originally going for the Japanese word for Wheat, which is "Komugi". 小麦. The characters for "flour" are similar, being 小麦粉, so there's a bit of a joke with the "flour" on the back of her jacket. I think I initially just wanted to put a sunflower on her jacket and the joke was an afterthought.
The picture with the rose colored background was my initial drawing of her, and the other one was my "remaster" attempt at tracing the original and presenting it in an intentional doodle/scribble "rakugaki" (落書き) style.
My headvoice for her is Cristina Valenzuela, based on her performance of Wilbell in Atelier Shallie.
