RéBURST was a name of a pokemon manga where people and pokemon fuse for battle rather than just summoning them. Weird idea but would love to see them revisit that idea someday. Not sure if Zinnia showed up there, but this is my take, inspired from a suggestion from a drawthread.
Edit: re-uploaded again on 2020-07-11 after cleaning sketch lines on the tail in 2nd image since it was really bugging me.
