One such weapon is the iconic D'k tahg, a traditional bladed weapon used for hand-to-hand combat and possessed high ceremonial value in the Klingon Empire. The weapon consists of either a single or double-edged blade with 2 curved blades on the side, either fixed or hinged to enable to blades to protrude by the flip of a switch. The knife sometimes also bared the symbol of the respective house it belonged.
