I just had to redraw this scene, Nova more into a 01-02 Adventure's style but still looking like the cutie pie.
She is rescued by another cutie Pie, Takeru-kun and Magna Angemon!

One night Takeru-kun was reviving, in dreams, the awful day in which him and Hikari-chan had to face Piedmon alone (because their friends and brothers failed to defeat the evil guy and unfortunately both digidestined and digimons were turned into dolls!)
Angemon did his best to fight Piedmon and despite holding him for much longer than any of his allies, he ended lying on the ground, exhausted and unable to move; Piedmon attempted to kill the children by cutting the rope they were trying to climb through...
That happened in the original series (which is one of my favourite episodes ever) , the little Takari children , were falling to a certain death until Takeru was finally able to overcome his fear and summon Holy Angemon. Holy Angemon finally defeated Piedmon by using his Gate of Fate and the kids and digimons were finally free.
Now, in his dreams, Takeru was reliving the moment he was falling to the emptiness.
He turned his head for a brief moment and he suddenly saw Piedmon throwing a girl to the ground, from the sky, as well albeit in a crueler way.
The girl was quite different from Hikari-chan, she was blonde and some years older than them. Horrified by the vision, Takeru attempted to help her by joining her fall.
As soon as he caught her hands, the girl´s digivice lit. The following moment, they found themselves summoning a very powerful angelic digimon...Angemon!
Angemon immediately digivolved into Holy Angemon and rescued the pair. Takeru was delighted to see him, Nova was too surprised to say anything. The angel would later face Piedmon and get rid of him for good this time :3
What neither Takeru nor Nova knew at that time was that this Angemon was the very first Angemon that Tk met and lost n the first season. In my story, while Angemon died and aparently was reborn as an egg, his soul actually wasn´t allowed inside the egg and instead another Angemon took his place within Patamon´s body and personality. The original Angemon was sent into a limbo for a long time until Tk and Nova unconsciously summoned him through time and space.
Angemon wants nothing but go back to his little camrade and protect him again :)
