Well, it was a while ago that I wanted to renew Nema’s look during her teenage years and I really liked the result. As an adult she already has a tomboy vibe and when she was younger it was more evident. XD
If you ask why her hair has changed over the years even though she is a Saiyan, the answer is simple.
First, she and her brothers are hybrid, not like Gohan Trunks or etc. In fact, she has a non-Saiyan grandmother so she has certain unique genetic characteristics. (You will never see a 3/4 Saiyan character and 1/4 "something else" elsewhere.: V)
Second, Nema just liked wearing short, spiky hair. Do like Uub, love her for who she is and let her have the look she wants.
