I know that sounds a bit eclectic, but I played as each of them in different RPG campaigns.
Silence is fiercely overprotective, and quite willing to charge headfirst into the jaws of death itself. Fire cannot hurt her, instead the flames surround her, embrace her, and lend themselves to her anger against her foes.
Patience on the over hand has always been equally adamant that she doesn't need to be overprotected. After inheriting the position of head of the House Everstone trading company at a young age she was forced to bear a heavy responsibility which weighed heavily upon her and diminished her once bright and cheerful persona.
