But it is also said that a set of unfortunate people gets a defect with theirs, as such is said that they still do dream of their fated soulmate but can't and/or vaguely recalls this said encounter and can also see their red strings which tragically leads to nowhere regardless if their soulmates themselves are right in front of them.
[ Heads up with this fact that I'm a Dazai x Atsushi shipper, thus gives this AU a touch of angst since it'll involved a denial Port Mafia!Dazai and a negative/suicidal!Atsushi, but regardless of this idea, anyone is free to bring in other interpretations for this art! ]
