ravenf6This is a work I did last month based on a suggestion a friend of mine made- he suggested I tried drawing one of my characters in the Hajijme No Ippo style. So I tried applying it to Edgar Voldge ,here. Started out rough, adapting the style was no small feat, but I eventually managed to draw out Edgar fairly decent, but I would need to put in more practice.
At first, I was going to leave it with jsut Edgar, but soon found myself drawing a boxing ring to go with it and two bits of imagery for Edgar. On the left is his family's crest. On the right is the crest of his blacksmith shop- the Red Anvil.
Afterwards, i did a good bit of detail, lighting and shading. Took a while , but now he looks ready to fight a good couple of rounds. XD

While I only practiced the style for a bit, I feel I should mention Hajime no Ippo belongs to Jyoji Morikawa, just to be safe.
