ＪＫ样Two days late, still worth it.
I actually plan things up ahead from months, years, or at least a few weeks before the day I decide to submit a piece of artwork (because I know I would drag the deadline along). But I always turn in late. Ah well, sometimes quality and laziness do come at a price. This was actually a parody I made for this year's Halloween. The page is based on the first story in the 40th volume of the Vault of Horror readcomiconline.to/Comic/The-V… (GO READ THE SERIES, IT'S REALLY GOOD - although some of the stories are kind of heart to understand) with Margaret and Igor replacing the Keeper and Drusilla. I had a blast while doing this. Nevertheless, it is challenging for me who grew up with manga to draw in a style I never thought I would need to draw into. And usually on Halloween, I tended to draw characters I like (mainly a lot of protagonists, or main characters within the stories of fandoms), so drawing Maggie (OH YES, the nicknames I immediately thought of... Margaret = Maggie, Elizabeth = Lizzie/ Ellie; Theodore = Teddy) and Igor... is something I never came across before. Plus I did study EC comics in my college, and this would be a good practice on trying out other styles in drawing comics.
