ArtBasementMan, I never did something about the Millennium Falcon and I also didn't do a lot of piece about the original trilogy. Probably because I'm not as attached to it as the prequels. You must understand that I was born in 99 and even tough I looked at the original trilogy first, the second one, I grew up with games like Jedi Knight : Jedi Academy and other ''modern'' Star Wars games. Also, the prequels began when I was born and I basically grew up with them. Anyway, I tought it was time for me to make a piece about the original trilogy and I think that it's very good.
I tried to experiment with the illusion of movement with the ships and I made a pretty good looking planet in the background, there was a lot of colors change to make it look believable of course. When I make sci-fi content like this in general, I decided to design space as something colorful and pretty but I changed my mind to make it nearly all black because it contrasted well with the colors of the planet in the background. By the way, if you're asking me, no I'm not excited about the Han Solo film and I'm more excited about the Obi-Wan movie. I hope that he's going to be played by Ewan Mcgregor, that would be amazing! Oh, and now that I realise it, I'm really a fan of the empire because I always put them in my creations
