CNLohmanA rustic little church in rural Virginia. My grandmother recommended it when I mentioned I was looking for a place to paint. I laid it out plein air and then worked from a combination of photos and models afterwards. There was a streetlight in the original photo, so I made tiny torches from q-tips and clay to burn beside a train-table model with similar style bricks and used that to re-do the lighting. To keep the new lighting correct throughout I also built the gate out of toothpicks, and the roof out of craft sticks :3
