nightmaresyrupDomo, Ninja Slayer-san, I am Not-Ready-to-Recite-my-Death-Haiku-Please-Don’t-Kill-Me-san. Bad jokes aside, I enjoyed this anime. The Absurdist humor is just my thing, and I really loved the way it poked fun of ninja stereotypes. Plus, the extremely crude cut-out fight scenes abruptly transitioning to insanely well animated action scenes to fast paced music always makes me smile. Oh and the character designs! Heck yeah! And yes, I prefer the anime designs, and their glorious Acid-Trippy-Tie-Dye color combinations.
One more thing, if someone wants to check it out, go for the dub, please! The Japanese phrases and words used within English sentences…...is….just….MAGNIFICENT.
