nightmaresyrupFinally! I did it! I finished painting Yhorm the Giant. It took me a while to draw, because I messed up several times. Awww, I wish the boss battle lasted longer even with Siegward. The design, the seemingly lighthearted questline, the touching yet intimidating cutscene, the terrifying long reaching moveset, and the lore, I love it all! I want to know which type of giant is he? I was surprised to see the FACE. I liked the giant lore in the second Dark Souls, but what’s going on? I don’t remember seeing the giant’s faces in DS2. The big gaping holes are pretty much their faces. Maybe Yhorm is a hybrid?
Hehe, I know the ceiling didn’t fall apart during the fight, but Siegward’s line always gives me goosebumps! He went from jolly Onion buddy to BAD*SS in mere seconds. Strange, some people said he died in one hit during the boss battle. He was a damn tank in mine.
By the way, what exactly is the Profaned Flame? From what I’ve gathered among various Pyromancy spells it’s brought on by a curse cast by a bunch of ladies? It’s also what helped Pontiff Sulyvahn take over Anor Londo. What? It feels kind of open ended. Something tells me this won’t be the last we’ll hear of it.
There’s so much to say, I want to write about his selfless heroism as well, but this is getting toooo loooooong.
