Poland (ポーランド)/Feliks Lukasiewicz (フェリクス・ウカシェヴィチ) as a Ułan (ウーラン) one of the most iconic polish military units.
The uhlans (sometimes also written as "ulans", polish: ułani) are a sort of light calvalry armed with a long lance, thus also referred to as lancers.
Like all polish soldiers, the uhlans wore a tall helmet. However, not a round shako, like in other armies, but a rogatywka, also called konfederatka, with a distinctive four-pointed square top. Caps with square tops are still a characteristic sign of the polish military, today.
During the Napoleonic Wars (ナポレオン戦争, 1792 - 1815), polish uhlans served in the french Grande Armée and made the lancers popular throughout europe. Later, other armies, e.g. the prussian, also introduced uhlan-units, which saw service up into the 20th century.
After the Napoleonic Wars, the uhlans were an important part of the polish army in Polands uprisings (11月蜂起, 1830 - 1831) against Russia.
There are multiple types of polish uhlan uniforms from different periods, I decided on the red and blue one, since red is one of Poland's flag colors. I'm still not sure, how accurate the uniform is, so I hope you can forgive me faults^^
