With Hobbit movie trilogy coming to a closure, Tolkien's Arda Universum felt like an appropriate ground for inspiration seeking. For months I had a graphic idea about how apocryphal tanks of Morgoth's army could have looked like during their assault on the hidden kingdom of Gondolin and now the time came for a first trial involving such a theme.

Golden gate seen around the main vanishing point has been based around a loose interpretation of the structure described within the tale of Tuor's arrival at Gondolin from J.R.R Tolkien's "Unfinished Tales". While my vision of it is most likely inaccurate, it seemed pleasing enough to be allowed a place on the paper. Besides, beautifully detailed descriptions of each of the seven gates protecting the Hidden Kingdom are a vast resource by themselves and it is unlikely that I'll remain fully content with only a hasty, solitary interpretation.
